My career in the title insurance industry began in 1995, answering phones as a temporary receptionist at First American Title. It was meant to be a summer job—but I was immediately captivated. Over the next 18 years, I climbed the ranks, eventually serving as Assistant Vice President at Fidelity National Title.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in nearly every type of title company—from two of the “Big 5” underwriters to regional and family-owned operations. I’ve led through mergers and acquisitions, supported newly acquired branches, and seen the best and worst of organizational change. These varied experiences gave me a deep understanding of the title ecosystem—from frontline operations to executive leadership.
In 2013, I left corporate leadership to explore the real estate side of the business. That shift organically evolved into my first consulting practice, supporting title companies with everything from regulatory audits and SOP creation to team training, centralized operations, and jurisdictional expansion. I also held fractional leadership roles, helping title agencies scale with structure.
By 2019, I was recruited back into full-time leadership as VP of Escrow Operations. That role gave me firsthand experience evaluating and implementing a new Title Production System (TPS)—a process that exposed significant gaps in software support, change management, and post-implementation adoption. I saw how disconnected internal teams, overwhelmed staff, and underpowered software setups were holding strong companies back.
That insight led me to step into the software side of the industry, where I took an entry-level role on purpose—to help change things from the inside out. Over the next several years, I supported dozens of title companies in implementing and optimizing TPS platforms and TitleTech tools. I guided cross-functional change across leadership, operations, and compliance, while helping teams adopt smarter workflows, enable staff, and build scalable, resilient systems.
I've also consulted on GTM strategies, scoped new product offerings, and partnered with product teams to provide real-world insights on UX, integrations, and enablement. My experience spans software architecture, training frameworks, document and rate setup, backend configuration for reporting visibility, fintech/proptech integrations, and corporate accounting optimization.
With 30 years in the title industry—across both operations and tech—I’m uniquely positioned to help title companies select the right tools, streamline their systems, and scale with confidence. I also support fintech and proptech partners with product development, UX insight, and implementation strategies that resonate with the people who actually use the tools.
